Chapter #7

"...personalities"

by: Some Random Person Author IconMail Icon
"Hey Alex, lets switch personalities." Karen suggests.

"Why?" you ask.

"I though it might be interesting for us to have eachother's personality for a bit." she says. "What do you say? Want to do it?"

You think it over a bit, then respond with a yes. She selects "Personality" on her display, and then a message asking you if you agreed came up. You hit "Accept" and then Karen and you select "Apply Changes."

Time resumes, and you both wonder whether the switch worked on not. You don't really feel any different. "So did it work?" you ask her.

"I'm not sure." she says. "I don't feel any different."

"Me neither." you tell her.

"Well that seems like a waste." she says.

"I guess so." you agree. "Now what should we do?" you ask her. It was saturday, so you didn't have any school today.

"Lets go get some breakfast." she says, and the two of you go downstairs. You pour yourself a bowl of cereal, and sit down at the table. As you eat, something catches your eye. Its one of Karen's sister Stephanie's fashion magazine's. You remember that Karen and Stephanie would often read these, though you had never cared about it before. However as you looked at the cover, you thought it seemed interesting right now and decided to give it a read. You picked it it up and flipped through the pages a bit, admiring the clothes shown in it, as well as reading the articles on stuff like make up tips. As you read through it, you randomly ask "Hey Karen, how do you think this dress would look on me?"

Karen looks over at you and the magazine. "I think you'd look good in it." she replies, not finding anything strange about the situation. Neither of you realize the change in personality since you have both switched with eachother.

"Yeah, thats what I thought." you say. "I sure wish I had clothes like this."

"Why don't you have mine?" Karen suggests. "I don't think I want them anymore. I feel weird in this nightgown of mine."

"That sounds like a great idea. You've got great clothes." You aim your PAID at her and press the button. Time stops again, and you select "Clothes" on the display. Karen selects "Accept" and you then select "Apply Changes". Everything resumes, and you see that you are both now wearing eachother's pajamas.

"Well the personality option doesn't seem to work, but the clothes option sure does." you say as you admire you look down at the nightgown you now wore.

"So now what should we do?" Karen asks. "Its saturday, and I don't feel like justing sitting around the house all day."

You have the following choices:

1. You suggest heading to the mall

*Pen*
2. You suggest calling up your friends to hang out

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
