Her Goldeen passed by Misty as if it didn't even notice her transformation. Then all of her pokemon swam by her, even Psyduck seemed to have suddenly learned how to swim. They were paying no attention to Misty whatsoever. They all seemed focused, and it looked as if they were all in a trance.
"Goldeen! Staru! Psyduck! Come back!"
The pokemon ignored her cries and orders and continued to swim forward. Misty was left with no other choice. Misty followed her pokemon, she was more concerned about them over her new mermaid body. Something was wrong with them and she had to follow them. Maybe there was even a connection between her pokemon's strange behavior and the pendant.
She had gained great speed thanks to her new tail, but it wasn't enough to catch up to her pokemon. They kept going deeper and deeper into the water. Soon they approach a strange coral reef and begin to slow down. When Misty finally caught up to the pokemon, she noticed a strange shadow being cast on the coral reefs.
