Steven was stood in the toilets staring at his reflection in the mirror, he thought about his supposed new powers and how to use them, and he started getting excited. But just as he was thinking of experimenting on himself, a bright flash appeared behind him. He turned to see a mass of grey 'smoke' swirling around, coalescing into a humanoid shape. "What the fuck!" he muttered in disbelief, and a few seconds later he found himself staring at what appeared to be an old man in a grey robe, he had a trimmed white beard and long hair and he instantly took an interest in Steven. "Ah, there you are!" the old man stated.
"Um...who are you...and more to the point...what the hell just happened?" Steven said to the 'old man'.
"Firts thing's first!" the old man gestured, before reaching his hand out towards Steven. He then made a tugging movement and Steven felt something being sucked out of him, the very powers he had been imbued with earlier...were now gone. "Those are not for you, and I do not know why my associate gave them to you" the man stated.
"Associate?" Steven frowned, suddenly feeling weaker and 'normal' again.
"The elderly man you met earlier, the one who gave you your powers, they were not his to give to just anyone" the old man explained.
"But.." Steven began protesting, only to be silenced by the 'intruder'.
With a quick wave of his hand, the old man altered Steven's voice so it sounded like a little girl's voice, and then immediately shut him up for a minute. "What the fuck...!" Steven then blurted out in his high pitched voice, making the old man chuckle.
"Little girls shouldn't curse like that you know" the old man laughed...before waving his hand again. Steven immediately felt himself shrinking, his clothes literally falling off his changing body as he regressed into a five-year old girl. His ill-fitting work clothes then morphed into a frilly pink dress, ankle socks and jelly shoes. Steven was speechless as he stared down at himself, grabbing at the dress he now wore. "What...why...?" he gasped, looking up at the old man, who now towered above him.
"Oh...why not?" the amused man shrugged, chuckling again.
"Now, if you agree to co-operate I'll change you back to normal, and if not...well I can always introduce you to your friends as my adorable little granddaughter" the old man said to Steven, who just stared down at himself again, unable to quite grasp what had happened.
"My friends will wonder who the hell you are and why you're in the store after opening hours!" Steven pointed out.
"Yes...and?" the old man replied, raising his arms and allowing a staff to materialize in his hands. "If I can change you into a little girl, imagine what I can do to them" he smirked, before winking at Steven.
"Look...just change me back...please!" Steven pleaded, as he felt his blonde pigtails.
"Very well" the old man sighed, waving his hand and morphing Steven back into his normal self. "There you go, oh...and you can call me Joshua if you like. Now, shall we go and introduce me to your friends?" he said, gesturing the way out of the toilets.
Steven exhaled deeply, then lead the way back out into the corridor.
