This choice: Go steal some jewels together • Go Back...Chapter #5Rouge and her servants' first joint theft by: Karl0s   "I think it's time we go... collect some jewels, girls. I know one very good store we could steal them from." Rouge said, sitting on the armchair, looking at the ring on her finger. "You two may be having the fitting personality now, but you still don't have an experience. We should fix it."
"Good idea, Mistress!" Amy beamed.
"I'm ready to help." Vanilla nodded with a smile.
"And, of course, if we succeed, all the spoils will be divided equally between us." Rouge said. "Do you think we can do this?"
"I don't think so, Mistress." Vanilla said before letting out a small grin. "I know so."
"That's the spirit." Rouge said with a smirk. "Now, let's get down to business. We only have 3 hours before you need to come back home, Vanilla, so let's hurry, girls."
"Yes, Mistress!" Amy and Vanilla nodded.

It was afternoon. The people were walking around, minding their business. A jewelry store stood among the other buildings in the city. There was not much people around at this area right now. The ones who were remained in their houses.
"Such work is safer to do at night. But for this week, the shop owners left for a vacation." Rouge said. "So we're gonna try it at a day time."
She and the other girls were standing in the lane, getting ready for an operation.
"Sounds like this place could be robbed easily, Mistress." Amy said.
Rouge chuckled. "Don't underestimate the security system, dear. Vanilla."
Vanilla took out a small device that reminded of a pen. She pressed a small button on it. A small laser cut the window frame perfectly, so it could be taken off easily. Amy put the frame aside and the girls looked inside the store. There were a lot of jewelry at tables. But they all were locked.
"So, we're getting in?" Amy asked.
"Not yet. Let me check something first..." Rouge said, taking out a small box that had a cosmetics set in it. She opened the box and scooped up some powder.
"What are you doing, Mistress?" Vanilla asked with interest.
"Just watch, Vanilla. If nothing happens, I'll explain." Rouge said with a smirk before blowing the powder into the room.
Soon, the powder dispersed, but to Amy and Vanilla's surprise, they were now seeing a lot of small red laser beams around the room.
"Wooooow~!" Amy said with a smile.
"See now? Even if there were no security measures, it never hurts to check." Rouge said.
"It's great that you found this trap, Mistress." Vanilla nodded. "But how do we get all the jewelry now?"
"There must be a switch that will turn off the system." Rouge said, looking around. "I'll go check the other rooms, you girls wait here."
The bat girl came inside and started using her agility to dodge the lasers on the way to the other rooms. Amy and Vanilla felt worried at first. But Rouge successfully went through the system and disappeared in the other room. After a couple of minutes, Amy and Vanilla saw the lasers turn off. Rouge then returned into the main room with a proud smile on her face.
"Now you can come inside too, girls." she said.
"Mmmmm, that was amazing, Mistress." Vanilla said before her eyes sparkled with delight as she looked at all those locked up jewels. "They're... they're beautiful..."
She touched the glass with delight, and so did Amy, who was clearly feeling the same about the jewelry. Rouge was delighted by a view too, but being experienced, she got used to it enough not to get too distracted by it.
"Now, girls, we gotta unlock all of them. It will be a long process, but don't worry, I'll teach you how to open the locks." Rouge instructed. "Are you ready?"
Both girls nodded.
"Of course you are." Rouge smirked.
In just a few minutes, the bat girl taught her servants how to pick locks. Amy and Vanilla felt excited after they picked their first locks and were able to take jewelry in their hands.
"Wow, that's a nice necklace. It fits my outfit." Vanilla said, looking at her own reflection.
"And this ruby isn't worthy remaining here. It's worthy of being mine." Amy cooed, stroking the ruby in her hand.
The half of all the locks were picked. When suddenly, Rouge's ears perked up.
"Girls, someone is coming." she said quietly. "It will take time to pick the remained locks. One of you needs to go and distract the passerby, while me and the other will be busy."
"Got it, Mistress!" Amy and Vanilla said, keeping as quiet as Rouge.
Amy volunteered to be the distraction. She quietly left the store through the window and stood at the lane's entrance in a seductive pose. Soon, she indeed saw the male Mobian passing by. Knowing that she can't let him hear Rouge and Vanilla picking locks in the closed store, Amy started speaking to him. Luckily, the man was already paying attention to the pink hedgehog.
"Excuse me, sir. May you help me with something?" Amy asked, giving him cute eyes.
"O-Oh, uuuuhh..." the man hesitated, feeling shy.
Amy walked close to him, moving her hips left and right. She held both hands behind her back before saying: "Pleeeeeease, there's no one else here. Only you can help me, sir."
The man looked like he forgot what he was planning to do recently. Amy started talking to him about her 'problem' and he listened to her carefully, while the pink girl herself was giving him compliments and touching him with her fingers in a flirty way.
The distraction went successfully. As Amy spoke to the man, Rouge and Vanilla picked the rest of the locks and quietly left the store, taking all the jewelry with them.
Amy noticed Vanilla waving to her. She smiled to the man and nodded. "Thank you for your help, sir. You are the greatest person I've ever met~!"
She ran her finger across the man's neck. "Bye handsome~."
"B-B-Bye." was all the man could say as he watched Amy leave.

"Good job, girls. It was our good joint theft." Rouge praised her servants as they three were in Rouge's house, checking all the jewelry they stole from the jewelry store.
"Thanks, Mistress. And thank you for sharing them with us!" Vanilla said, looking very happy and wearing a necklace and a pendant on her neck.
"May I take it home, Mistress?" Amy asked, holding a red ruby in her hand.
"Of course." Rouge nodded. "Vanilla, it's time for you to head back home. Your old personality will be returning soon. And I'm sure your daughter will start missing you if you're gone for too long. See you tomorrow."
"Yes, Mistress." Vanilla nodded. "See you tomorrow."
After Vanilla left, Amy turned to Rouge. "Isn't that a bit inconvenient that Vanilla can only be with us for a limited amount of time in a day?"
"I admit it's true." Rouge nodded. "However, I can't leave Cream without a mother. I may be not a good girl, but I'm not immoral. And like I said before, I don't want to hypnotize Cream. Also, if and when I need Vanilla for a night missions, I can enter her house and hypnotize her while she's sleeping. Better not to overdo with it though. She needs time for sleeping, life all of us do."
Amy smiled. "Mistress Rouge, you are so caring!"
Rouge shrugged. "Yeah, I do that stuff sometimes. I also do care about the world to some extent. You know, no world, no new gems to steal. Which means I'd prefer to avoid hypnotizing Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or the other our male friends. If I do that, it will be meaning that we'll have to be the ones rescuing the world from Eggman and other troubles. And I don't have time for that. I just want pretty gems."
She held a finger on her chin. "I think I need more servants. I'll consider the other choices you suggested before I picked Vanilla. Are you ready to help me with finding them, Amy?"
"Always ready to serve you, Mistress!" Amy said, bowing her head.
"Good girl." Rouge chuckled.
