In some act of god these things actually buy this full BS maneuvers that would make everyone laugh. Instead of hearing these things outside the door you hear them running for their life away from your room. As you wait to hear if someone is out there you hear nothing. You wait till dawn till you make your move. As the sun rises above the trees, you try to make a plan of attack. Either you can make a run for the gate and get away. Or you could find a weapon then run away to the gate and away. OR do you use your cell phone that you forgot you even have.
