She still has time before her next shift and go...

As B'lanna strides purposefully into Medical. The doctor materialises.

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."

"That's the problem Doctor. You are just a little too cold and clinical. It means that people don't find you easy to approach, and can't confide in an austere authority figure." She slowly tapped her chin as she spoke. Trying to exude a cold detachment.

"I AM a doctor. Clinical and detached are meant to inspire confidence in my abilities and skills."

"Well, your record speaks for itself doctor, and your.... proficiency isn't in doubt. However with such an extended voyage, there is a growing need for.... for a more.... spiritual dimension. The ship needs a counselor." She finished.

"I concede that I have noticed a little impatience, and short tempers among some of the growing problems." He nodded in agreement.

B'lanna pressed forward. "Traditionally woman are seen, as more open in this position. But if that makes you uncomfortable." she allowed her voice to trail off.

"No. I can assure you that I wouldn't.... don't see being female as a problem." he hastily answered the scowling half-klingon.
