This choice: The holodeck simulation suddenly ends • Go Back...Chapter #12The holodeck simulation suddenly ends by: PonyGirl   Just as Wesley was about to step onto the bridge, she stumbles as the world vanishes around her. At first she is confused because, with the thoroughness of the training, it seems like she has been with the Ferengi for years. Now, with the control collar deactivated, she slowly grasps the reality of what happened and memory begins to return, but as a distant memory. She hears a voice and jumps with a yelp as she spins around.
There stands Commander Riker with Dr. Crusher, Counselor Troi and Geordi. Commander Riker spoke again, "Ensign Langer. What are you doing her dressed like that and where is Wesley Crusher?"
Wesley tried to focus, which was not easy with two sexy men standing there! "I, I am, well, I am not Ami Langer, or I am but I'm not."
Riker was not amused. "Stop playing games Ensign! Where is Wesley?"
Wesley shook her head, "Here, sort of. At least that is who I used to be."
As Dr. Crusher uses her medical scanner, Counselor Troi says, "She is not lying. She is very confused, but she believes she is, or was Wesley." She pauses, "And I know this will sound like an odd request Will, but I think you and Geordi should leave for now." He looked annoyed, "I am very serious. If you stay, you not only won't get answers from her, you will need to fight her off!" The men looked confused, but left reluctantly.
With the men gone, it was easier for Wesley to think more clearly. She was eventually able to tell them what happened, and how she originally was supposed to be the buff hero who rescued Ami Langer, not become her. Dr. Crusher shook her head, "The transformation is perfect. Wesley, how did you do this?"
She began to cry, "I don't know. I can't remember now. Can you get me back to normal?"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
