Yes they were rather odd choices in pets from the typical choices but your parents just couldn't say no. A few years back the local zoo closed and your father being as wealthy as he was decided to adopt two of the giraffes instead of risking their health transporting them back to the wild knowing the kid you absolutely loved them; after all it was already the perfect climate and there was ample space on the estate.
Now you have grown up since then as well as your twin giraffes sammie and cassie were both around 18 feet tall. you've been around them so long they're practically your big sisters. Well at least that was the joke everyone else used. You've always liked them but you've started to notice them to be getting quite mischievous lately, particularly to you. Taking your things, pushing you into the enclosure when you're not paying attention.
Upon hearing that a nearby circus closed your parents decided to both head out for the weekend in hopes of finding some elephants a home at the estate; leaving you with the two for the weekend. Easy task you thought, feed them, brush them, clean the stalls, simple.
After a few hours of going about the house and watching tv after they left, you realized it was time to give them their food for the day. You aren't in any big rush but maybe you figure you could cut the time feeding them if you stayed outside the enclosure. Also being alone you knew they'd probably try to corner you and annoy you somehow if you went in , probably do anything to keep you from getting your chores done.
