Diplomacy? Make friends with him

In a last, desperate attempt, you begin sputtering out words, hoping he understood you, "W-wait! You seem awesome! really nice, and smart! Wanna be friends? It'd be-" Your words were cut off as his fist wrapped around you and lifting, knocking your breathe out and leaving nothing but your head exposed. That didn't work.. you'd think the 'lonely' pokemon would want a friend. "Er-- I can help you find more food!" nothing, he's still bringing you closer to his gigantic mouth, "I mean-" You say hurriedly, "I'm nothing: A mere snack! I could.. find you entire colonies! I know where a bunch of pokemon live!" You lie.. but it's no use, it's obvious the pokemon doesn't understand you, you can do nothing but squirm in his hand as his brings you up to his mouth.
"Nice try." It says in an almost whisper (like a shout, when you're a foot away from it's maw) With the two words came a wave of hot moiste breathe that smelled of terrible rotten.. you don't want to think about what, and you also don't want it to be the last thing you smell.
Then, as it tosses you into it's mouth, you realize it completely understood everything you said, it didn't care. 'A mere snack', you'd said.. and that's exactly what you were, what you said to it meant nothing, there was nothing you could have said to change your fate.
You flew into his mouth as his jaws snapped shut.
The back of his throat was the last thing you saw.
