They had been knocked out by the smell.

To Ruby's horror, not only had she demolished all the glass in the room, but she demolished the CLASS too, because all of her classmates had fainted from the stench!

"It was loud, powerful, AND it smells?! Why me?! Why now?! What do I do?!" Ruby thought to herself in a panic.

However, she thought it might not be such a bad thing her class was KOed. Now nobody could pin who "dealt it" on her...right?

Ruby decided all she could do was hide out in the bathroom until next period.

The flatulent teen ran out of the room, and unintentionally knocked out a couple of students and a teacher standing nearby in the hallway due to her stench flowing out the doorway and filling the hall.

Ruby went into the bathroom and hid in one of the stalls.

She figured she could at least text Elena about it. Not that her little sister would be of any help, since she'd see Ruby's toxic emission as something to be proud of.

About 15 minutes or so passed, and someone entered the bathroom.
