Makenzie came down the stairs and into the kitchen. She glimpsed at Savanna sitting in front of the TV. She rolled her eyes.
"Mom, why do you keep giving her more food?"
"Why? Is it a problem?"
"Yes, it's a problem! Not that I really care, but she's bordering on obese! Soon we'll have to buy a crane just to move her fat ass!"
Her mother glared at her coldly
"I told you- no more of that language, young lady."
"Sorry. But that's not the worst of it. She gets all of the attention. What about me? Does this mean if I tripled my weight, you'd pay more attention to me?"
Her mother hugged her
"Well, you could use a little meat on your bones, but weight has nothing to do with it. You know Savanna likes to eat."
"Yeah, right." Makenzie said as she grabbed a tub of ice cream out of the freezer
