Measure his new waist size

He ran over to the wardrobe rack and hunted for the tape measure his costume designer kept in her sewing kit. The short sprint left him out of breath. "I really need to get some exercise," he thought.

He wrapped the tape around his waist and tried to suck in the gut that was starting to hang down. The end came to rest just past the 33 inch mark. He struggled pulled the tape around his waist to just inside the 28" mark it had been at for months. It was a struggle and fat spilled out both above and beneath it.
