Superman could feel the increased drag his added girth was causing as he flew. The Kryptonian grimaced and tugged at the front of his super-suit, which was feeling tighter even than it had when he'd taken off from his apartment. The last son of Krypton pushed himself to put on a burst of speed, not noticing yet that he was steadily growing fatter throughout his flight.
He was getting close to the docks when he passed over a long line of food trucks and had to curse his super senses. Clark could smell every individual spice and flavor being used in the food below him. He could even taste it a little bit when he breathed in through his mouth...which was something he'd never noticed before.

Feeling embarrassed he revved himself up to his full super-speed and dashed around the lot to push the broken asphalt back into place...but the first piece he grabbed crushed to powder in his hands. 'Damn...what's gotten into me, I can't seem to modulate my strength...' And then it hit him, the realization making him stop and stand stock still after he'd managed to push the asphalt pieces back together and melt the cracks with his laser vision (that power had also overperformed, burning a seven inch deep hole in the ground when he'd first tried it).
It was really the sensation of his plump flesh continuing to swell under his super-suit that made him realize it... what the difference between his usual level of strength and control was and today. At nearly 550 pounds, Superman realized he was...
