This choice: Query, what 'practical' skills exactly are you going to be practicing today? • Go Back...Chapter #7Query, what 'practical' skills exactly ... by: R682   "So... what 'practical' skills exactly are we going to be practicing today?" you enquire dubiously, not altogether sure how you feel about being obliged to 'join in' with 'playing baby' in any respect.
"Oh, well... um," Karin murmurs, clearly reflecting on this for the first time herself. "I think now you're here we might change from what we did have planned. Perhaps we could do feeding, or something like that, instead."
"Aww! No, that's not fair," Laura protests. "We went out especially to get the things, remember! I've been waiting for this!"
"Yes, dear, I understand," Karin soothes. "But, it might be a bit much for Daniel on his first day. And, think about it... Wouldn't you find it a bit embarrassing to have Daniel involved in something like that?"
Laura shakes her head intently,
"I wouldn't care. He's already seen all of me before."
Now, that was something that you are still trying to suppress in your mind. There was an occasion where Laura didn't realise you were there and came walking out of her room stark naked on the way to the bathroom, just as you were on your way up the stairs to call for her. Oddly enough, you were far more embarrassed about the incident, whereas her attitude simply seemed to be 'oh well, you've seen me now' and just to carry on. Not that any of this goes very far to address what they actually were planning to do today.
"Well, if you're sure," Karin sighs, "I suppose we could ask Daniel. But this is definitely something we'd need to let him choose if he wanted to take part in."
"Please say yes," Laura urges fervently. "I've been waiting for this for ages."
"Um... yes to what, exactly?" you query, realising Laura's going to be very let down if you don't play along with whatever this is, but at the same time getting the sense that this could be something potentially embarrassing enough to make the bedroom incident seem positively benign.
"Diapers, of course!" Laura grins. "We've got some proper big-sized ones, so you can practice putting one on me, and I can practice putting one on you."
Well, yes... definitely getting weird right about here.
"Uh... why would I want to do that?" you blush at the very thought.
"Come on, please," Laura urges. "It'll be fun. If you really don't want to wear one, you can always just do it to me... but I really think you should."
You have to admit, against all rational logic, there is a part of you that almost wants to be convinced to play along.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
