Dodge Ball!

It seemed at first to be a good idea to go over to this girl playing with her ball, but now its there is a problem: the girl continually is bouncing her ball all around and so far, her sandals have not stopped moving around. Lucky for you, you are clear of being stepped on, but that ball is close to coming toward you. You have to wait for the right moment to jump onto her sandal. Finally you see your chance. With her sandals facing away from you, and the ball clearly near the mailbox, you run and leap onto the little girl's right sandal. Yes! You are safe, but..how do you get her attention?
