Lugia's stomach suddenly growled violently. It was loud and sharp, and almost shook the countertop. The baby Lucia winced in pain and brought its wings to its belly, trying to calm it down. The Lugia looked at Rye in a pleading manner, expecting him to know how to stop the pain.
"You still hungry little guy?" Rye asked a bit nervously, not liking seeing the Lugia in pain. The Lugia's nodded quickly and let out a cry of pain as another wave of hunger hit it.
Rye quickly opened up the cupboards and looked for something that the Lugia can eat. Something fishy. He spotted a dozen cans of Sardines and instant key snatched them. Rye set them in front of the Lugia. It tilted his head to one side and looked at it curiously. Luckily for Rye, it was an easy peel lid. Rye opened up the can and set it on the plate for Lugia.
Like with the Tuna, the Lugia was a bit apprehensive to the meal set in front of it, but before it coukd make the decision to eat it or not, another hunger pain struck. It picked up a sardine with two of its wing like fingers and popped it in its mouth. Rye noticed that he must really like it, because it instantly went back for more.
Rye let out a sigh of relief. "Whew! That was intence for a little bit. You alright there little guy?" The baby Lugia nodded and flu tinier slurping down more sardines. Rye noticed that the Lugia apparently loved eating. It kept making little purrs as it ate with a little smile. The smile diminished, however, when Lugia finnaly ran out of Sardines.
The Lugia's kept being glum about this for a couple more seconds, before it heard something that caught its 'ears'. It turned around and saw Rye opening up another can of Sardines, tapping the can upside down on a plate, and serving it to it.
"Don't want you getting hungry again, do we?" Rye quipped. Lugia stared at Rye for a little bit and smiled, then gave its full attention to its food.
"You know, I should find a name for you. I can't just call you Lugia." Rye said to himself, watching the baby Lugia's glut. While he watched, he noticed there was little bit more Lugia than there was before it started eating. It's belly was already big, but Rye could tell it was getting a bit bigger by a few inches. It's arms and face had a little fat on them too, not so much that it was noticeable, but still.
Rye opened up another fan of Sardines and placed it on the plate for Lugia, figuring it would want more when it's done. "HeHe, maybe I should call you 'Lardia'," Rye joked at its weight. Suddenly, the Lugia stopped eating and started to chirp gleefully.
"Huh? Do you...you like that name?" The Lucia curled in response, and proceeded to rub its belly letting out a deep yet soft belch like before.
"Excuse you." Rye chuckled. "Alright...Lardia it is.".
