This choice: Positive, she looks for the good in people • Go Back... Jessica awoke with a sleepy yawn that shook the foundations of the castle. It was built especially large for her by Lionel, king of these lands...and one of her few friends. She had helped him oust the previous, corrupt king, and his loyal followers. Though she wore little clothing, for she had been 150 feet tall at the time just 2 years ago, their weapons proved incapable of drawing blood from her. Most of said followers either ran away with their proverbial tails between their legs, or...reluctantly permanently neutralized. After the remainder of them had surrendered unconditionally, she had personally gathered the dead and gave them a proper funeral by burning their corpses in a fire. It had been a terrible day filled with bloodshed, and she had nearly lost her hope in humanity that day...
Yet, Lionel did his best to maintain her positive attitude towards humanity in general, reminding her that this terrible day was a necessary one for a better tomorrow to occur. And indeed, though the local villages still feared and shunned her for being a giantess that could wipe them out in a heartbeat if she so desired...they at least started to treat her with a little more kindness much to her joy. She hadn't asked to be born big and grow ever bigger as the years passed, but she would try to show humanity that it had a friend in her.
Jessica sat up near the keep, which would only come up to her proportionately large breasts should she stand up. Sometimes the garrison would have to help her adjust her top, which she's grateful for whatever help they provide considering the danger. Those who live in the castle are much more open to Jessica, at first on King Lionel's orders, but eventually on their own terms. A wizard even helped cast an incantation on her clothing so that it would grow with her should she grow again.
Her growth is a matter which Jessica is most uncertain of about herself. As of now, on her 22nd year, she's roughly 200 feet tall. But as she has known no family, she has no clue if there are others of her kind or if she was once a human baby that had been gifted to grow to incredible size as she grew older. Furthermore, she has no idea if she's stopped growing yet, and if not, how much bigger does she have to look forward to...if she is ever to stop, that is. Ideally, she was done, but she can't say for sure and no one else she knows can either.
However, such thoughts are put aside as Jessica greets her friend, saying, "Good morning, Sire." softly so as to not make him go deaf. One benefit to being who she is is that her eyesight is incredible, able to pick out the tiny humans that scurry about the castle with ease, including King Lionel himself.
"Lionel, please, Jessica. We've been over this before, you needn't address me in any special way..." Lionel responds in a friendly manner. Jessica has proven to be a most valuable ally to him, and a close and trusted friend since saving his life a few years ago. Thus, he has dedicated much of his power as king to trying to make her feel comfortable and welcome. She's beautiful, and her green eyes reveal a woman who only desires to see the good in people, even when they fear and shun her for being larger than even this castle's keep. And though he has forced his people living in the castle to be open to the giantess, it warms his heart to find that they gradually come to know her like any other person, and not as a humanoid monster. He then informs Jessica... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
