A Girl's Growth Spurt Overload

Kiki was first to get up, Lindsay and Lily followed her to the back of their house where they kept their bikes. It was a short ride from where Lindsay and Kiki lived to the public library. Lindsay walked up to a short grey haired woman behind the circulation desk and said, "Excuse me, we're looking for books about growing up. Its for school." She added after an awkward moment. "It says here that the body produces more estrogen and human growth hormone during puberty, and the size a woman grows is based on how high the levels of both are in her body during puberty. I bet if we took estrogen and that other hormone we could become giant." Lindsay said while reading some of the book. Lily was looking through another book while using her phone to search sources of estrogen. "It says birth control pills contain estrogen, but human growth hormone is only prescribed by a doctor." Lily said dejectedly. "Oh this page says there have been links between early onset puberty and eating beef laced with bovine growth hormone. I wonder if combining the two would work." Lily pondered. "I think we should try and see. I know where mom keeps her birth control, it is a weird container." Kiki said excitedly, Lindsay was smiling and ready to go back to her place.

They left the library and made a stop at a local restaurant and bought about few hamburgers and a chocolate shake for each.
