Rebecca lays in her bed, wrapped up in blankets, and rolled over facing towards you. You really want to change back, as even unworn, the aroma in the shoes is not pleasant, but you can't risk giving yourself away. Her coughing is keeping her from falling asleep, so you're stuck for now. Her mom checks in on her a few times, but she just grumbles and moans. Her mom brings in some extra strength cough medicine, hoping it'll either relieve the cough, or make her groggy enough to sleep.
A half hour later, you watch as her eye lids start drooping and her eyes go unfocused. You wait expectantly for her to nod off, but suddenly she bolts up in bed. She clumsily pulls herself free from the blankets, mumbling under her breath, and starts towards you. You hear her, "Ugly color... jus' don't match, need ta go 'way..." You wonder what she's talking about, but then she grabs you, and you can feel part of yourself being seperated from your main body. After a few clumsy moments, where she almost falls asleep standing up, she proudly holds up the laces of your body, and flings them over her head across the room. You see them hit the wall, and fall behind her dresser. She does the same with your twin, though this isn't nearly as big a problem for it.
"There... get cuter ones later..." With that, she moves towards her bed, and promptly collapses into slumber on top of it, still holding you. You wait a few minutes, during which time her mom comes in comes in, repositions her under the blankets, then tuts as she looks at you. She looks around for a little bit, then walks out, only to return a few minutes later with a fresh pair of laces. You watch her lace up the other, then feel the foreign string move into and out of your body repeatedly. She then places you gently on the floor, and leaves.
You wait about 15 minutes, then will yourself to change back. Unfortunately, your body is seperated, and the other piece is too far away and you can only feel it's presence, but not connect with it. You need to be closer to your laces to morph back, but you can't change back while she's wearing you. With a mental sigh, you try to get comfortable in your form, and hope that she'll take you off by the dresser very soon, or the laces will be found and put near you.
