Her first thought was Eggman. The evil genius was not at all trustworthy, but hes the only person Amy knew who came close to Tails' intelligence. Still, she was just as unconfortable discussing this with him, but maybe he had some sort of machine that could help. One that he wouldn't miss if someone were to "borrow it"
The only other person she could think of was Dr. Starline. The mad platypus had worked under Eggman for some time, before he got a little full of himself and was gotten rid of. Perhaps he'd learned his lesson and would be willing to lend a helping hand?
