You are half asleep but you can feel the gentle pushing on your snout and a voice telling you to wake up. It takes a few minutes but finally you open your eyes and see your brother. He runs out the door to young to really grasp what has happened to you. Your mom probably said something to him but how much did he understand? He looks at you behind the door to your room. your dragon vision is definitely amazing. You hadn’t noticed before in the middle of the day, but now that the sun is on the other side of the house, your eyes were adjusting to the darkness as if it was still light out. Your brother still nervous you look at the clock and noticed it was 3:15 and the girls get home at 3:30. Maybe you should wake your mother up and have her deal with him. He was obviously scared of you.
“Where’s Mommy?” he said as he peeked around the door at you. You smiled lightly which seemed to ease his nerves a little.
“She’s sleeping. You want to wake her up?” you ask trying not to scare him any more then he already is. To this he started inching into your room nodding his head. “Here why don’t you come over here and give my tummy a good bang, She’ll hear you.” he got excited at the prospect of hitting you, which you weren’t too sure about but he came over to your belly and stated to whack it as hard as he could. You could feel your Mom moving in response. It was obvious that she could hear what was going on and landed a few soft blows of her own not sure if it would hurt you or not. This your brother felt and looked at you with a puzzling look. “Ok I think she’s awake. Go ahead and talk to her.”
“Mom are you in there?” he asked talking as close to your belly as possible.
“Yes max what is it. Oh I’m sorry honey I forgot your snack. Alec what time is it?”
“About 3:15” you say as she shifts around obviously stretching from her nap.
“Ok max why don’t you wait in the kitchen and Mommy will be there in a minute.” She said which sent max to the kitchen in excitement even before she was done talking. “Alec can you bring me back up now?”
