Chapter #6

Tina

by: Clear Path Author IconMail Icon
Noticing a pair of black panties barely covered by a long t-shirt, I realized who it was, it was Tina, she shouldn't be up this late. Okay, that sounds hypocritical coming from me when I'm doing this dumb expedition.

I can hear her yawn and stretch her arms. "Let's see." She gets closer to the table. "Ugh, I knew that idiot didn't put anything back to it's place. Now a mouse must be here." I realized I left a slice of bread chewed in front the package and she can easily mistake my bites. Right now I should feel scared of my teenage daughter finding me but, that rush feeling I felt before it's coming back. If you want me to tell you the reason, I don't know. Seriously, why did this happen?

"Okay, let's move this." I see Tina putting the bread package over the fridge. "And this." She really was cleaning off the table, well, this was surprising. I've never seen her doing chores or at least helping out without me telling her to do so. But wait, she is cleaning off the table, that means, I noticed her fingers over me, seconds away to take the mayo jar.

All right, time to move on, Karen. What should I do now? I noticed a chair in front of me and jump to it. Fortunately, my daughter is still half-sleep and doesn't see me on the seat, thank God my body is still strong enough to resist the leap. I carefully climb down the chair and run away from the kitchen.

I think I'm done for tonight, this was fun and all but feeling how small I am compared to my teenage daughter is kind of intimidating. Oh, right.....I forgot about the stairs, I guess I should do it again. But then I heard him.

"Mom? Where are you? I need to eat before I go to school." It was Matt. Crap! Did I really spend the whole night in this dumb game? I see him walking down the stairs and knew I couldn't avoid him. I try to check anywhere I could hide and see......
