This choice: A sample of a Guardians mind. • Go Back...Chapter #8Draining Cyril's brain. by: Unknown "And what, if I may ask, are you two doing out in the hallways when you should be in class?" said a voice suddenly behind them, startling the two dragons.
Ember turned around and saw the Ice Guardian Cyril, one of the most proud and sternest teachers in school, walking towards them, looking very stern.
Spyro wanted to come to his and Ember's aid, but when he tried to give an excuse he suddenly found himself stuttering and mumbling gibberish. It surprised him that he couldn't think of an excuse when he clearly in the past could.
But, luckily, Ember came to his aid. "We bumped into each other accidentally and struck up a short conversation," she said, "Though, we were going to class. We're sorry, Master Cyril."
Ember was surprised as well. Normally she allowed others to fight her battles for her, too shy to do it herself. Cyril looked at them for a few moments before he nodded his head.
"Because you were honest with me, I'll let you go with a warning," said Cyril, "Now, run along."
Cyril pushed them gently with his tail, and he made a terrible mistake in doing, for when his skin made contact with her Ember began to drain the blue dragon's brain.
There was that warm, pleasant feeling between her ears again as her brain cells began to rapidly multiply in order to contain Cyril's knowledge.
The blue dragon's eyes went wide as he felt a strange sucking sensation in his mind, like someone had pressed a straw into his skull and was sucking at his brain, which diminished slightly in size due to the drain.
His appearance slightly altered, his teeth growing more sharp and longer, one tooth portraying out of his mouth a little.
But as quick as the drain began it ended, leaving Cyril a little dazed, rubbing his head, staring at the two dragons as they left and wondering what he just felt.
What happens next?
Choice one: Ember, her forehead bigger, returns to her dormitory after school to find a buck-tooth Cynder waiting for her, who appears to be growing more stupid by the minute.
Choice two: Ember notices that Cyril begins to act more goofy during the day.
Choice three: Cynder brushes past more students over the day as, surprisingly, none of them have yet to notice her changes. Whether their brains are drained or not.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
