This choice: You wake up with her still on top of her • Go Back...Chapter #7You wake up with her still on top of her by: blader   You wake up slowly with Rena still laying slightly on top of you. You try to wiggle out so you can go to the bathroom but Rena just rolls over and hugs you close to her. She starts mumbling "glad.....company.....not alone anymore" causing you to smile. You're just able to wiggle yourself out and you head outside the cave to do you're buisness. You re-enter the cave once you're finished and you find Rena still asleep. You lay down next to her and just watch her sleep for a bit "she's actually pretty cute" you think as she rolls over so she's on her side facing you now. You move closer and you stroke her back "wow she's so soft" you think. You keep stroking until Rena wakes up and she looks at you with that piercing stare.
"Um......good morning" you say not sure if you upset her.
"Good morning" Rena says as a smile breaks out on her face, "can you do that again that felt really good" Rena says.
"Sure" you say, you walk behind Rena and start gently stroking her back and she lays back down on the bed. You sit there and stroke her for a good 10 minutes before Rena sits up and smiles at you. "Thanks Axel that felt soo good" Rena says.
"No problem it's the least I can do for saving me" you say. Rena wraps her arms around you and pulls you close to her. She gently rubs you're back and starts humming. "So Axel what do you think of me as a blanket?" Rena asks.
"Well that's a weird question but you're really comfy, warm. and fuzzy" you say.
"Thanks Axel, i'm glad to hear that" Rena says pulling you back and smiling a bit.
"Ugh i'm hungry" you say.
"Oh let me get some more berries" Rena says getting up and running out of the cave. You run out after her wanting to find out where Rena found these berries. You follow her through a bunch of trees, bushes, and even over a small stream until she enters a clearing full of bushes. You walk up to one of the bushes and they're full of berries, Rena enters the centre of the clearing and much to you're suprise she starts glowing. You hide behind one of the bushes as Rena transforms or well digivolves into Kyubimon. She lets out a bunch of ghost fire that surrounds the area. You slowly step out from behind the bush and Rena or should I say Kyubimon turns and stares at you.
"Hey I didn't know you could digivolve" you say walking up but you stop as Kyubi-Rena snarls at you. She pounces toward you and knocks you over easily as she was now atleast 100ft tall as her face was bigger then you were. You try to back up but she blocks you're path with her paws and stares down intently at you. "Rena are you ok?" you ask as she wasn't doing anything. She leans her head down and licks you once with her tongue, she gently breathes on you for a bit washing over you with her warm breath. She opens her mouth wide and lowers her head toward you, "Waitttt" you yell prompting her to stop right above you. KyubiRena raises her head and stares at you confused, more becuase she stopped then you yelling. She looks down at you a second time and sniffs you this time, she pushes you with her muzzle now somewhat confused that she didn't just eat you. You sit up and gently stroke her muzzle somewhat assure that she won't eat you. KyubiRena lays down so that one of her paws is over top of you and she starts glowing again, you shut you're eyes once she started glowing as it was such a bright light. When you open them you find Rena laying there, she opens her eyes and is shocked to see you there.
"Axel what are you doing here? are you ok? did you see it?" Rena asks.
"I followed you to find out where you got the berries from, i'm alright and I saw you become Kyuubimon not only that but you well tried to eat me" you say answering each of her questions in turn. She hugs you tightly "I'm so sorry" she says "whenever I become Kyuubimon I go kind of feral that's why I seal myself with the ghost fire" Rena says.
"It's ok it's not like i'm hurt or anything" you say.
"Yeah but...but you'd be dead and I would of been the one who killed you" Rena says starting to cry.
"Hey hey it's nothing to cr...mmphh" you're cut off as Rena kisses you. You're shocked for a second as you could tell the feeling behind the kiss as Rena hugged you tightly when she kissed you. You feel her lips quiver as you weren't returning it so you gently kiss her back, you feel her whole body quiver and she totally lets go pushing you over and laying on top of. She kisses you again and again for a good minute before getting up, "i'm....i'm sorry, i'm not sure what came over me I just....I just don't want to be alone again" Rena says starting to cry again. She hides her face and turns so you can't see but you can easily see her body shaking. You walk up and look around her "her Rena, you did stop yourself you know, it's the reason i'm not hurt" you say. She just turns away and you sigh. You walk around her so you're standing in front of her and you grab each of her arms with a hand. You slowly part them suprised she wasn't putting up any resistance. She stares at you through teary eyes and you slowly move forward and wrap you're arms around her neck before kissing her. She just stares at you shocked before kissing back, you break the kiss after half a minute passes and you smile at her, "Rena you saved me so I owe you my life, so it's ok if you took it" you say smiling. Rena shakes her head and she hugs you tightly "I don't want you to die" she says.
"Fine then I won't" you reply. Rena stares at you and she starts crying again. "Hey hey, stop that" you say brushing a few tears aside "I don't ever want to see you cry, because if you're sad that'll make me sad too" you say prompting her to hug you again. "Can we have some berries now i'm still kind of hungry" you say.
"Sure" Rena says she pushes you back so you land on you're butt "wait there" Rena says as she zips around the clearing picking berries. She returns in a few minutes and offers you a berry "open up" she says. You sigh and let her feed you, however you notice she's smiling the whole time. She feeds you every berry by hand up till the last one that looked different, all the others berries were blue or black but this one was red. Rena picks this one up and stares at it for a bit before placing it halfway in her mouth. She leans over and wait expectantly. "No, no way am I doing that" you say. Rena's ears droop and you see her eyes quiver for a second, "Oh fine" you say eating the berry and kissing her in the process.
"Yay" Rena says tackling you and hugging you after the berry's gone, "now come Axel it's time we went home" Rena says picking you up and running back to the cave. She puts you down and walks further into the cave a noticeable spring in her step. Rena turns around and runs up to you, she pushes you over and cuddles up next to you. "Axel you'll never leave right?" Rena asks. "You should of asked that sooner but no Rena i'll never leave since you're so kind" you say rubbing her back.
"That's good" Rena says as she lays her head down covering you're whole lap.
"Sleepy?" you ask.
"No I just want to be near you" Rena says happily. You smile at her words and you start stroking her back.
"Hey Rena do you mind if I go use the river to wash off" you say.
"Not without me" she says lifting her head up.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
