Pamela Isley felt the prison transport vehicle come to a stop. The motion and the muffled sound were the only sensations she had to accompany her on the long journey to wherever she was now. It wasn’t Arkham, she knew that. Pity, she had an escape plan already lined up in her usual cell. But no, instead those lawmen tyrants decided for her that her sentence would be better served in this fancy new prison program. Now here she sat in a dark transport truck, unable to so much as see a plant let alone where she was going. And she almost got one over on that brute, Batman too.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the crack of light that split the opening door. Before her eyes could adjust she heard a female guard tell her to get moving. She expected shouting or a rough yank but she was truly surprised when she felt a pair of strong but gentle hands scoop her up by her armpits, carry her out and set her down outside the truck with a pat on the head.
Poison Ivy found herself in some kind of loading dock. Whoever was running this place knew to keep her far from plants, yet the air smelt like some kind of floral perfume with some other sweet scent hidden beneath. The guards were certainly odd, two strong looking women dressed like candy stripers nurses. And they were all smiley too “welcome to Happy Tots Correctional Facility, Ms Isley. We’ll be getting along with your processing and orientation in just a moment.”
