The letter said:
“Dear Miss Wilson,
you may wonder about this gemstone and why I am sending this to you.
As you know my husband died recently and I will follow him very soon. No don’t think that I will commit suicide or something, but I am old and not in the best health condition. Also you don’t need to worry about your contract for renting this apartment, since my last will is fixed already that you can stay here as long as you like without any raise of rental fee. But I heard rumors that you will change your job and leave our beautiful town. This would be sad, but you must do what is best for you.
Anyhow I come to the point now: This blue gemstone, which you received with the letter, is a present from my husband and me to you. It is magical and can grant wishes. You can believe it, even I know that you think I am a crazy old woman, but I am not. You can test the power of the stone yourself.
It grants wishes! The wearer can have unlimited wishes, but each wish cannot be undo before a time period of 24 hours! This is the only danger about it.
Since this was last will of my husband and is also in common sense with me, we will give it as a present to. Use it wisely and have much fun and luck.
Sincerely Lenora Desinski…
