The sight of it and the fear I sensed shot adrenalin through my body giving me an instant of super strength. I kicked it squarely in the head causing it to release its grip. Stroking hard for the surface, I barely made it before my head went dizzy and my vision began to fade from lack of air. I coughed and gasped still hoping to make it to shore when I felt my arms being pulled and began to cry in despair, my tears mixing with the water.
