"Sam, it landed on four." Laura said looking at her Asian friend. Samantha was short and stocky but that was soon to change. Or at least Laura hoped it would. She opened up the Alterations app and navigated to Samantha's profile. A 3D rendering of Samantha clad in her pink sweats and jacket filled the screen and along the side were various bits of data, sliders, and menus.
"So, what do you want me to change?" Laura asked.
Samantha opened her mouth to speak but her words caught in her throat. Then she blushed bright red. "Um, Jason? Would you be willing to wait outside?"
Jason looked confused but then shrugged and left to go watch TV in the living room.
Once they were alone Samantha sighed. "Okay, first of all I'm sick of being so short. Can you make me taller, like five foot eight or nine?"
Laura nodded and began tapping on her phone's screen. She was surprised to see that as she made Sam nearly a foot taller her clothes stretched out as well keeping her body properly covered. The outfit did change a little, though, she saw as it became a little more form fitting which allowed her to see that Samantha's weight was now more evenly spread out across her taller body giving her a more slender figure. Playing around further Laura discovered that she could adjust Samantha's torso to leg ratio giving her longer legs without adjusting her height further. Once she took her finger off the screen the image of Samantha blinked for a moment then her sweatpants changed into tiny pink shorts.
Laura tilted her head to the side. I wonder why her clothes changed.
"Something wrong?" Samantha asked.
"Nope. I've got your height dialed in at five foot nine with legs that go all the way up. What else?"
"Maybe some boobs, I guess," she said putting her hands on her chest. "Nothing too big. Maybe like a C cup or something."
Again Laura made the change on the screen plumping Samantha's avatar's chest up a bit. Just like before there was a quick update to her outfit. The jacket vanished and her sweatshirt was replaced with a tight t-shirt that outlined her new bust.
"Looking good," Laura said. "What else?"
"Well..." Samantha blushed again, this time even brighter than before. "You know how I feel about Jason."
"Sure."
"Are you aware of how he feels about girls with... muscles?"
Laura shook her head. "Muscles? I don't think it's ever come up but with all the meatheads in this town it's not too surprising. You want me to beef you up, girl? Make his head turn?"
"Yeah. Well... yeah, big. I mean, not too big but like obvious. Strong, you know? Sexy, I want-"
"Relax, Sam. I'll make sure you'll leave Jason drooling. I just want to be sure that this is what you want, not just something he wants."
"I want it too."
"Good enough for me." Laura began adjusting the muscle sliders watching as Samantha's body expanded on her phone. She increased her friend's physique little by little watching as muscles developed across her entire form. Her shoulders and chest swelled out while her arms plumped. At the same time her thighs and calves grew at an accelerated rate compared to the rest of her. Laura stopped when Samantha's impending body crossed the divide between athletic and bodybuilder. The readouts told her that Samantha's chest would now measure 38 inches around with 16 inch arms and 25 inch thighs. Her body fat levels were so low that individual strips of sinew were clearly visible giving her an incredibly shredded look. Just like earlier there was another quick update to the avatar's clothes which removed the sleeves from her shirt and pulled the hem up exposing a deeply defined six pack.
"Okay, did you want to take a look at what we have here before I finalize everything?"
Samantha was about to take Laura's phone but then reconsidered and backed away. "No, I'd better not. I might panic and back out. Better if you just do it."
"You're the boss." Laura tapped a button labeled "Apply Changes" and suddenly felt a buzz of electricity crackly through the air. She was about to announce that it seemed to be working when she found herself unable to move. In fact everything around her seemed frozen as well as if time itself had ceased to move. A few moments later Laura could see Samantha's body changing. She grew in all directions at once getting taller, thicker, wider, and bigger by the second. Despite being frozen excitement rushed through her mind now that she realized that the phone actually worked just as it said it did. This was incredible, her life would never be the same again. She could have anything and everything she ever wanted!!
When Samantha's body mirrored the once on her phone her clothes morphed into her new super tight shorts and shirt. Laura marveled at how incredible her friend looked. She even noticed other subtle changes that she hadn't made like Samantha's jet hair was fuller and shinier than before while her face had a new thin layer of make-up despite the fact that she rarely every applied any. She also noticed several additional ear piercings all along Samantha's earlobe and what looked to be a hint of a tattoo on her side just barely poking out beneath her shirt.
An instant later the energy that filled the room seemed to dissipate and Laura was able to move again. At the same time Samantha looked down and gave her arms a cursory flex.
Laura couldn't help but gush. "Oh my god, you look incredible!! How do you feel?"
Samantha looked at Laura and said...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
