"Okay, so here's my plan," said Laura. "Greg, you obviously can't be trusted with power. I'm not gonna make any changes to you until I figure out a way to keep you from repeating whatever the hell that was."
"Oh, so you'll just keep it all for yourself huh? That's a great--" Greg began. Twin glares from Laura and Vanessa shut him up. Laura had to admit, it was kinda satisfying seem him being put in his place like this.
"No, Greg, I won't. The way I see it, if I control changes that happen to me, I'll be able to get out of hand way too quickly. That's why I'm gonna be making the changes to Vanessa first."
"Now hold on--" Vanessa began.
"Look Vanessa, don't worry," said Laura, "The changes will be slow, and I won't do anything that you say you don't want me to do." She paused. "Unless you think you have a better plan?"
Vanessa pursed her lips, clearly annoyed about something. Laura wondered if she wanted to get her hands on the app again.
