Ash figured He'd try to follow her; he didn't want to stay where He was because he could just end up as dirt under someone's shoe. What Ash didn't realise was how damn hard such a normally easy task was. He didn't take into account the fact that despite her size, Sally was no slow poke. In fact by the time Ash made it to her next footprint she was miles away. Traveling under his own power just wasn't effective under those conditions.
As he was re-thinking his whole strategy, he began to feel tremors. It wasn't like the footsteps he felt before, this was a constant vibration and it was getting stronger. Whatever it was, was heading right for him.
"What the Fu--"
Ash caught of glimpse of something blue, there was a sudden tornado strength wind and he was suddenly airborne. All he could see was ground and sky over and over again as Ash flew tumbling out of control. His biggest concern of course was the landing. He figured if he survived the impact with the ground he'd probably have every bone in his body broken.
Fortunately, Or unfortunately, it looked like he wasn't going to hit the ground.As he tumbled He saw that he was falling towards a group of Sonic characters.
