Ash stood there, his jaw hanging open , staring at the living mountain that was sitting before him.
It was her, no mistaking it. It was Mother Bear and despite her height of hundreds of feet tall she looked just as she did in the cartoon, right down to the clothes she wore. He watched her smiling at her family removing various foods and drink from the picnic basket beside her. She was totally oblivious to the literal ant man at her knee, and completely oblivious of the fact that a simple movement on her part would result in his death.
Ash closed his mouth and wondered just what the hell was he going to do next? From what he remembered she was a gentle and kind character, but this wasn't a character he was looking up at. Even if she was gentle, how gentle could she be to someone his size? That's even if he could get her attention, which was easier said that done. He remembered it been said that bears have a great hearing but he didn't want to start yelling. If he did that, she might not hear and if she did hear there was a chance she could inadvertently kill him before he got the chance to let her know where he was. He could think of two options, one he could start a long and dangerous climb up to Mother Bear's Ear. She sat sideways, so the other option was to make his way around to soles of her paws and tickle her to get her to investigate and then yell for her attention.
