You decided to hide and let your mom wake up on her own. Besides some people don't react well to being surprised and being woken up by a 50 foot long hydra maybe cause her to scream or even hit you in her confusion. Now the only problem was where to hide until then. You might be able to hide under her king sized bed but with your size it might be a tight fit even if you bunched up or you could hide in her walk in closet behind some of her clothes.
You carefully made your way to her walk in closet try not to wake her. She tossed and turned a little causing you to stop in your tracks in panic but she just went back to sleep instead. Seeing that the coast was clear you slipped inside and positioned yourself according. Thanks to your moms massive collection of clothes you had no real problems hiding behind some of her clothes racks, you even managed to sneak your tail next to the door so you could close it quickly if she tried to bolt before you could explain everything you really hoped it did not come to that.
Fast forward to about 8:30 and you hear her alarm clock go off. You were well aware of your mom's morning routine. She would wake up, brush teeth, take shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and then pick up your little sister at 10:00. She finally woke up turning it off ran through her routine. Thanks to your transformation your senses improved dramatically, you could hear the shower, feel the vibrations of her footsteps, smell the fruity scent of the soap she used when your tongues. It nerve-wracking waiting for her until she opens the door to the walk in closet you are hiding in clad in he undergarments and bathrobes.
She had not noticed you yet and went about picking her outfit for today. You silently gulped, you had rehearsed what you wanted to say in your head so that she wouldn't panic. Mom remember how you said that no matter what happens that you would always love me, that family never leaves each other behind, that you may look different but you are still her son deep down inside. Nevertheless the rehearsal did little to quell your doubts or your nerves. Suddenly you hear a loud thump behind you and realized that because of your emotions plus the fact that one of your heads hit the wall behind you.
Your mom jumps a little at the sudden noise looking in your direction. She begins to notice that something was amiss. You curse in your heads, well its better to show her rather then the alternative. She sees a slight bulge in the clothes you are hiding behind but can't make you out, she remembers that when you were little one of your favorite spots to hide during hide and seek was her closest. A little embarrassed she asks "Honey is that you?" Well its now or never, you reveal yourself and....
