You wake to the sun shining through your bedroom window well rested. You stretch yourself awake and sit up on the side of your bed, and after one last yawn and stretch you get up slowly and head into the bathroom to get ready for school. You get into the bathroom and after you get your toothbrush and toothpaste you look in the mirror...and see four sparkling sharp fangs, and blue snakelike eyes instead of your usual look. You stare into the mirror for half an hour not believing what you're seeing, you poke your fangs with your finger and feel that they're extremely sharp and pointed, you also look at your blue eyes and try turning off the lights to see if you could see in the dark. You could and not only that but you could also see with a sort of thermal vision. You could see your mom and your two sisters walking around in their rooms getting ready like you were before you saw what happened to yourself.
You find out you can retract your fangs somewhat and you slip on a pair of sun glasses to hide your eyes because you didn't want to find out how they would react to your changing yet. You slip down the stairs and hurry to finish your breakfast before your sisters and Mom come down, you barely even taste the food as you swallow it down quickly and with ease, you do get a bit of a taste every once in awhile and the food, instead of the usual sweet taste of the syrup and the warm soothing taste of the pancakes, you tasted bland almost flavorless bits of flour and grain. You just ignored it and swallowed it down, which was surprisingly easy, as fast as you could then ran over to the closet and got your backpack and shoes, just as your sisters came down the stairs.
"What are you doing?" Trish asks.
"What does it look like I'm going to school see you." you say heading out the front door.
