Later that day Natalie was preparing for her exercise session, as she did she heard the vacuum turn off elsewhere in the house, she wondered who had been vacuuming for a moment then dismissed it. Just as she was about to start she heard the door open behind her. In walked a very timid Eric, clad in clothes very similar to hers, spandex shorts, clearly of a woman's design, a lose white top with a sports bra underneath, not that he needed it. These were clearly her other workout clothes. Something felt so odd about seeing her son in those clothing, but at the same time she had asked him to do just that.
"Good, I had almost forgotten I asked you to join me. Grab the other pad, I'll walk you through your first session."
"...Mother, I feel so odd being in your clothes, can I at least change?"
"No, silly, you look great in those clothes..." Though that was clearly a lie she just couldn't help but wanting him to be more like her.
"Well alright, let's get this over with alright?" The mother-son team began the workout. Many of the stretches were quite difficult for Eric, as he was not in the best of shape and was not exactly limber. After a rough 45 minutes for Eric it was finally over.
Eric was about to walk out the door when he remembered that he should be making dinner soon, or was that his mother's job? Did it matter he was suppose to be more like her so he should just get it going anyways. "Hey mom, I'm going to take a shower and start dinner, anything you want to eat."
"That's nice of you, I think we have some pork in the fridge that needs cooking, and maybe some mashed potatoes would be good."
"Alright, on it." Eric was looking forward to the potatoes, even though he used to hate them, they were his mother's favorite, so they must be his too.
