Female Spider Creature

Remember when Peter Parker mutated to a Man Spider Creature because I guess the spider genes in his body? I know it was in the 1990s spider-man cartoon series, but not sure it was every in the comics.

Why how about what if not only he becomes a spider creature, but becomes female as well. Could open interesting possiblities.
