You decided to break the silence and start talking.
"So... what happened, Pichu? You suddenly disappeared when you ate that colorful sphere, I thought you had been disintegrated or something worse!" You say, a little stunned by remembering Pichu's sudden disappearance right in front of you, it seems like it was yesterday.
Pichu saw his face falling, he felt sorry for having left him scared and worried.
"I... I was worried."
"I'm sorry Y/N, I didn't mean to worry you, I was just having fun before thinking about the consequences... I'm sorry" Pichu replies with his ears lowered, a sign of regret and guilt. You had the right to even give Pichu a lecture, but you left it out. His best friend was back and that's what matters, not the before and after, just the now.
"I forgive you Pichu, it's good that you're back home" Pichu smiles when he sees that you weren't mad or anything just worried and he understands.
"Me too!"
"So...what happened?" You asked, you were curious to know.
Pichu looked around, a bit unsure of what happened to him after eating that colorful sphere, but then I went ahead to tell him.
"Look, I don't think you would believe me if you told me what happened to me..."
"Why?"
"Well...it's hard to believe."
"Harder to see that you're back after disappearing in a flash of light?"
"Harder to accept! Take it from me, you'll believe I'm talking nonsense."
"Nonsense? You disappear in a flash for months without leaving any clues or even traces of your last appearance, and when you appear, you are speaking in human language! Nonsense is the last thing Pichu would believe." You say pointing out the facts to Pichu who asked that you wouldn't believe his story.
Pichu heard everything, but something seemed to surprise him...
"For months? So that's how long I've been missing?" Pichu seemed a little scared about time.
"Yes why?"
"Uh, it's nothing! Nothing really important."
"Oh ok..."
Pichu was a little tense about time, you would ask that when he started talking.
"So can I tell you?" Pichu asked if you were ready to hear his story. You nod, then Pichu begins.
"When I ate that sphere, I felt very strange energy."
"Energy?"
"Yes energy but not electricity but something... well beyond that." You are intrigued, but let Pichu continue with the story.
"Suddenly my body started to shake and everything shone, and suddenly I was in another world."
"Another world?" You were incredulous
"Yep, another world"
"But you disappeared in a flash of light."
"Yes, but I was teleported to another world... or dimension, I don't know exactly." Pichu smiled, rubbing his head.
"OK..."
"Right, I went to another world, very different. I was small and defenseless, but something, a being... I don't know exactly what it was, appeared and asked me what I wanted... I said I wanted to go home and to you. So he said:"
"You entered here because you found what you shouldn't have and took what you couldn't, being impious. Your only way out is to become greater than any other existing being in the universe! Become a GOD!"
"God?!" You interrupted Pichu, confused and disbelieved.
"Yes, a god" Pichu replied normally.
You stay fifth for a few moments before speaking again.
"Pichu... look"
"Don't you believe me? You said you would believe me." Pichu says, crossing his arms in a bored tone.
"No! It's not that, it's just... please continue"
"Okay... But no interruptions! OK?"
"OK..."
Pichu smiles when he sees that he had won you in the argument and there would be no more interruptions now, so he continues.
"In order to return I needed to become a god, and then this being given me part of his power and I felt much bigger and stronger!"
"In that world there were also other civilizations and super powerful beings who called themselves gods. They were very strong, but I defeated them and took their strength and titles, becoming stronger and stronger. Until in the end I defeated them all and ascended as the universal sovereign !" Pichu gets excited while you just looked at him trying to understand what he was saying.
"All those battles were difficult but thanks to our training that we did together Y/N I was able to defeat these rival gods and take their strength in the end in that world there was only me to be worshiped as the ultimate entity" Pichu was proud of his story, but you just kept thinking... What did you put in those cookies that Pichu ate?
Leaving that aside, you decide to question him.
"Okay, you became a 'god' and fought against other beings more powerful than you and defeated them all... and then?"
"After eliminating all the other gods I became the only divine being to be worshiped in that world, the entire universe worshiped me and ruled them. Billions of civilizations, planets and stars were under my paws~" Pichu has a mischievous smirk on his face, one where you decide to skip possible questions and agree to the alternative: My Pokémon freaked out.
"All this time, I kept thinking about coming home to you, so as soon as I figured everything out I was able to come back... I'm happy to be home, especially to see you Y/N" Pichu smiles at you grateful for being back, but something bothers him...
"You... don't believe... right?" Pichu noticed her confused and quiet face.
"You don't believe it." Pichu gets a little irritated when he sees that you weren't taking him seriously. You quickly try to get around the situation.
"No! I do believe it!"
"Really?"
You stay in for a few seconds before speaking.
"...Yes?"
That was enough for Pichu.
"You know what? Screw it, let's go outside!" Pichu jumps off the chair and heads out of the room.
"W-where are you going?!" You ask.
"Outside the house, you can only believe it by seeing it, right? So I'm going to make you believe it" Pichu is fed up with your inconvenience with him.
"Pichu doesn't need to do this, I believe, it's true"
"No, come with me, you'll see, seriously! You'll see, and you'll have to bet!" Pichu doesn't give up, he's skeptical about making you believe, he even bet with you.
"Ok, ok I'll come, jeez"
You and Pichu go outside, staying in a green field free of anything.
"I'm here and watching... you can do your 'thing' then."
"Just let me stretch first" Pichu says stretching while you watched. You wondered, is he serious about what he was talking about? Rain, shine, it seemed very unlikely and impossible to believe in something like that...
Pichu, being a god, difficult.
"I'm ready!" Pichu announces.
"Okay, then do it, prove me wrong."
"Oh, you'll see how wrong you are~"
