You go and look for your old friends from the m...

You decide to go down to the subbasement to look for one of your friends that you were pretty sure would be in the Danger Room. When you got there, you realized that you had been correct. Laura, codename X 23, was training in the Danger Room with her father, Logan, aka Wolverine. You watched as they carved their way through the simulated battlefield, in perfect sync with each other as they fought side by side. You admired their fighting prowess, which had saved the X Men multiple times. As the simulation ended, you waited outside the Danger Room door, as it opened, Laura flung her arms around you.
"It's so good to see you again, (your name)" said Laura "What are you doing here, I thought you were travelling?"
"Myself and my travelling companions came here, my companions wanted to meet Xavier," you say "I introduced them, they're staying in the mansion, but they don't know aobut the X Men yet, I didn't tell them, and Xavier said he would tell them in a few days if he thought it was safe."
"I suppose you can't be too careful," said Logan "I smelt a strange scent earlier, must have been your companions."
"Where's Kitty and Bobby?" you asked
"Bobby's gone home to his parents for a while," said Laura "Kitty's still here, we train together sometimes."
"Lets go find Kitty then," you say, leading Laura back to the elevator.
