This choice: He dismissed the sound as something unimportant, and is going over to his bed. • Go Back... The green-haired giant has turned his head away from where you were, looking straight ahead, and you realize that he's written off your cry for help as some faraway or random noise. He continues his walk, his monolithic legs striding across the enormous room in record time, each step shaking you to your bones. Thump, thump, thump. You get brief glances of the rubber soles of his green sneakers, practically immaculate, with only one or two strands of the carpet fibers buried amongst the treads... and you swiftly figure that you should get out of the way before you join them. You dive to the side as his foot slams down near where you once stood - THUMP - and the force alone knocks you off your feet and onto your behind.
You get a brief moment where the giant towers over you, his figure so colossal that it sends shivers down your spine, before he finishes his walk, standing by the bed. Taking a moment to stretch, he kicks away his sneakers to the side of the bed, revealing his soft white socks, which he then sits on the edge of the bed to take off. You continue calling for his aid, but the giant seems to be dismissing the 'noise' he heard entirely now... or perhaps he is too tired to hear? A yawn confirms your suspicions, and he swiftly removes the rest of his clothing (save for his underwear, of course) and places them beside the bed near the sneakers, before curling up under the sheets and trying to fall to sleep. You give one more shout, just to be certain, but he doesn't respond.
The door to the room is closed, so you aren't leaving any time soon, which means you have little choice but to climb up the bed and get the giant's attention - hopefully before he is fast asleep. Using the long-hanging sheets of the bed and several tools and bits from toys around the room, you enact a makeshift plan of clambering up the bed. It takes a while, but eventually, through some ingenuity, you make your way up the soft cliff of the bedside and shuffle your way up onto the bed's surface. Now on top of the massive mesa that is the giant's bed, you notice that you climbed up near... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
