This choice: Cagalli helps Lacus out. • Go Back... Cagalli's first reaction was to back away from the girl and her dirty diaper. All she could manage was an "uhhh" sound.
Lacus sighed. "That's okay. I certainly don't want to impose upon you." She looked over her shoulder and down at the back of her diaper. "Changing your own diaper isn't easy, but I'm sure I can get it done." She placed her hand on the seat of the diaper feeling all the poop she had deposited there.
By now the cloth diaper had floated over to Cagalli. A little curious she reached out and felt its dampness.
"I have a special laundry basket for those, I think it's over here..." Lacus floated over to her luggage. As she did a small trail of urine drops floated where she had been.
"Hold on," Cagalli called out. "I don't need you leaking all over my room."
Lacus looked back over her path. "Oh, I'm sorry. This diaper is way past it's limit."
"Fine, just-, just stay there. I'll get you your, things..." Lacus nodded and told Cagalli where to find the extra diapers and what-not. Cagalli tore into the luggage and within a minute was floating over to Lacus with a thick diaper in hand. "Here," she offered the diaper to her new roommate with her head turned away.
"Wait one moment please." Lacus was struggling with the tapes on her diaper. As she did so she started to flip over. "Oh my." Cagalli reached out and grabbed her, setting her right side up. "Thank you. I've never been very good when I had to change my own diaper without any gravity."
Cagalli bit her lip feeling a little guilty about letting the other girl fumble about by herself. Finally she took a breath and ask, "Would- Would you like me to help you?"
Lacus' face was beaming.
The diaper changed proved to be just as bad as Cagalli had feared. First there was the smell when she got the old diaper off. Lacus said she hadn't been changed for days and it definitely showed. Then she had to clean up the mess left behind. Cagali felt uncomfortable wiping Lacus' poopy bottom, but she did her best to clean the singer's butt. And the less said about the baby powder the better. Cagalli had forgotten about the lack of gravity and made quite a mess.
Finally Lacus had her new, thick, and very pink diaper on. "This is so much better. Thank you very much for your help. Cagalli."
"I'm just glad I could help." Cagalli silently prayed she'd never have to go through that again. "Are you sure it's not too tight?"
"Oh no. This is so much more comfortable. I only wear my diapers like that when I need to wear them discretely for long periods of time. And it's not like I have to hide them from you anymore," she smiled.
It was later that evening when Cagalli woke up. Groggily she got out of bed and went for a glass of water. She had trouble sleeping for the past few days and was prone to bouts of dizziness every now and again. So it was only mildly surprising when Cagalli lost her focus and floated into the bathroom ceiling.
The noise was enough to wake Lacus who was soon floating about. Cagalli pushed against the wall and floated out of the bathroom, banging her foot on the doorway as she went past. The girl let out a yelp and clutched her foot when she noticed Lacus floating in front of her.
"Are you quite alright?"
"Who, me? I'm fine. Why would you..." breaking off she brought her hand up to her eyes. She was beginning to feel very dizzy.
"Cagalli?"
"No, really I'm fine." When she pulled back her hand she could see Lacus giving her a stern look. The blonde girl sighed. "Look it's no big deal, I've just been feeling a little bit off lately. I get dizzy and feel like I can't tell which was is up."
"We're in space. There is no up."
"Yeah I know. I just need my body to understand-" Cagalli abruptly stopped talking. There was a strange warm sensation down by her crotch and it was quickly spreading. Looking down she could see a large wet spot that kept growing.
Cagalli was so mortified all she could manage to do was to cover her mouth and try to stop any tears from forming. Lacus however was immediately beside her and whispering to her softly.
A minute later the two were sitting down, Cagalli having a hard time getting comfortable with her soaked pants. "I don't understand how that could have happened."
"I think I do." Lacus immediately had her full attention. "There's a somewhat rare condition some people are afflicted with. It only manifests when the person is exposed to zero gravity for several days. Their brains have a hard time interpreting information because there is no way for it to determine what is upside down or right side up. Generally the symptoms are disorientation, trouble sleeping, and incontinence."
"That's why I just peed all over myself? Because my brain isn't working right?"
"Exactly. Your body has no idea where down is so a lot of your parts aren't working right, especially parts that are pressure sensitive, like your bladder."
"Great." Cagalli looked down at the floor. "Now what am I supposed to do?"
"Only one thing to do." Cagalli looked up to see Lacus standing in front of her, with a diaper in her hands.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
