Befriend the Woman and chat with her!

A smile formed on the woman's face and Calen smiled back, for one moment just happy not to be jumped by another monster.

`My name is Mera, and I am the daughter of the local ranger. The local ranger murdered only a few weeks ago, that is.´, spoke the woman.

Calen was stunned, by her words as much, as by her beauty!

`Please, come in and have a good meal, some tea, and a little rest. This forest is full of worse than trolls, but also may remain a hidden treasure or two.´, said Mera.

Calen followed her inside, perceiving a rustic but robust and clean hut with a table in the middle of the main room. Sideways, two smaller rooms held beds, which seemed to have been the ones of father and daughter, if Calen second-guessed properly.

Calen gladly went for the mix of bacon shunks and vegetables. Soon, he felt refreshed and his fight with the troll seemed long past.

`Do not waste precious daylight, brave adventurer. Out here, the dark holds murderous terrors, be they violent or wicked.´

Calen shrugged, a part of him had a more passionate idea about spending time, yet he was an adventurer and he knew that danger all around was not the perfect time for carnal pleasures.

Before leaving, Mera handed him a small lantern, a flask of oil, and a tinderbox, so he would not get lost in the dark.
