Kyle decided to quit at this point. Â It was wise to take it step by step and not rush things. Â He put the milk back in the refrigerator and closed the door, and then turned out the light.
Kyle then went into the den and turned on the TV. Â "Hopefully," he thought to himself, "I can stay up and see the growth happen." Â He flipped through the channels; most were running infomercials, but one had a movie on: The Incredible Shrinking Man. Â Kyle laughed at the irony, and layed down on the couch. Â It was definitely a little akward fitting on the couch at this size; his legs had to hang over the side.
Misty had finished all the milk in her bowl, and then came up to Kyle. Â She started meowing, and put her nose right in Kyle's face.
"What do you want, girl?" he asked. Â She ran back over to the empty bowl, and started meowing again. Â "Heheh," Kyle laughed, "I guess you like that milk as much as I do. Â Well, I suppose if I can have two servings worth, so can you." Â He got up and took the milk out of the fridge again and poured some more milk for Misty, this time filling the bowl all the way to the brim. Â Again, she started lapping it up quickly. Â Â Kyle smiled, put the milk in the fridge, and went back to the couch.
After a few minutes, Kyle started getting really sleepy. Â He fought to keep his eyes open, but couldn't. Â "Maybe," he thought, "the growth can only happen when I'm asleep." Â He decided to give in, and turned off the TV. Â Too tired to get up and go to bed, he decided to just sleep right there on the couch.
Meanwhile, Misty had finished her milk. Â She ran over to the couch and jumped on Kyle's stomach. Â Kyle opened his eyes, startled. Â Misty curled up and started sleeping. Â Laughing softly, he stroked her fur, and then closed his eyes, falling asleep in less than a minute. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
