Although the banquet was finally over, Applejack felt like it wasn't going to end. Even though her crush, Rarity, was more well-acquainted to these fancy parties, Applejack was like a fish out of water when it came to these fancy galas, banquets, and other super-fancy gatherings that required a mare to dress up really fancy.
Heck, Applejack had to get some lessons from Twilight on how to behave in a very fancy party, especially this was the sort of lifestyle her crush was living in, the kind of society that Rarity herself had willingly embraced. So, if the cowgirl of a mare had to immerse herself in the Upper Class society in order to obtain Rarity's love for her....then so be it.
Unfortunately for Applejack, it wasn't exactly easy as she thought. After all, due to some of the treats and appetizers that these banquets had displayed out for consumption, it took a toll on AJ's appearance, making her weigh at an overall total of 270 pounds. Fortunately, due to building up some powerful muscles from Apple-bucking, Applejack could still move normally, despite the extra padding.
However, Applejack's drastic lifestyle change wasn't a complete loss. After all, Rarity had called her "sweetheart". And during the fancy banquet, Applejack wasn't aware of this at the time, but Rarity kept sneaking in glances at the orange Mare's thicker flankcheeks and frame, both with curiosity and an aroused feeling everytime the fashionista mare would look at the obese Applejack with her own two eyes.
But when the banquet has ended and the guests had left for their homes, Applejack knew that she had to make her move now or never. "Okay, Applejack. Ya' messed up first time 'round, it's now or never." She thought to herself, reminding herself that she needed to confess her love toward Rarity now, or never at all.
