"Yes sir." Q said turning and walking to the elevator that would take him up to the crew deck. you turned to prowl the ship's corridors and inspect the crew.
A little while later you stepped onto the engineering deck where you saw pipes all leading into a large sphere hidden behind glass paneling that would protect the engineers. someone called out. "HEY YOU, GET AWAY FROM THAT!" you turned to look at who had called out and you saw a woman with short red hair and a tag that said 'LT. Kelly Sanders' in bold text on the front of her uniform. You stepped back towards the door you had entered from when she walked up to you and said "Who the hell do you think you are and what do you think you're doing here?"
you responded with "The captain of this ship and I was just getting to know my crew."
"Oh, sorry sir. I didn't realize it was you. Welcome to engineering this is about all there is here pipes and the drive system. We make sure it all runs properly."
"That's fine lieutenant. I thought I had stepped on something important, like the main fuel tube or something."
"No it's fine sir it's just I'm expecting some new recruits and I thought you might have been one of them."
