"Well Ma’am, I'm just a simple honest working man from Texas." you reply.

"Do you own a ranch?" she asks.

"No, I'm staying with family right now, but some day I do hope to have my own place."
you answer. (I know I said to "tell the truth" here, but glossing over the rough spots is OK.)

You notice that there is a small cafe on the corner in the direction you are walking.
Impulsively you ask her: "Would you like to have coffee with me?"
