If we go now, we may be able to catch Legolas before he gets to Mirkwood" said Gwaiihir "After that, we'll have to move swiftly to capture the rest before they reach their respective races" "Let's go then" said Gandalf, climbing onto Gwaiihir's back. Celeborn climbed onto a second eagle's back. Then the Eagles took off in haste. They were going so fast that Celeborn barely had time to register anything as they flew. They had captured Legolas before he had time to think. Legolas was unconscious on his eagle and he was trying to break Galadriel's influence. He eventually managed to break the rings influence over him. He woke up. "Good to have you back, Legolas" said Celeborn. "Wh-what happened?" asked Legolas "I was in Lothlorien" "What's the last thing you remember?" asked Celeborn. "Galadriel took the ring from Frodo" said Legolas "Then, there's a big blank" "You were under Galadriel's control" said Celeborn "She has control of all the Fellowship except you and Gandalf" "Gandalf?" asked Legolas, looking over at Gandalf on Gwaiihir "But, he fell in Moria" "Long story, anyway, you were sent to your people in Mirkwood to help gather an army against Sauron, I think you should still go" said Celeborn "Except tell them the truth,Galadriel is taken over, and we're gathering an army against her" "I'll do it" said Legolas. Celeborn's eagle flew low over the trees and Legolas jumped lightly into the branches. Who do we follow from now? Legolas or Gandalf, Celeborn and the Eagles?
