Leroy needed an escape after that day in school. He would rather not think about it, and would try to forget about it. Trying his best friend's usual hobby ought to be fun.
So Leroy set out to the nearby forest, going to a cave that Tim loved to explore. Leroy followed the signs left by Tim to help navigate through the labyrinthian place. But of course, Leroy thought he would go further than his best bro. And thus took a right turn instead of going left as the latest marker intended.
Going deeper into the darkness Leroy's flashlight landed on a most peculiar sight. An old wooden door? Now this piqued his curiosity something fierce. Passing through the door he found what appeared to be an old chemistry lab mixed with the hangout of an occultist. At a table was a skeleton dressed in clothes far outdated.
Leroy went to the skeleton, finding a journal that was dated somewhere around the 1850s and a bottle full of a bright green liquid. The journal belonged to a self proclaimed alchemist who was driven out by the people of the town out of fear of him consorting with devils, practicing obscene rites, and crafting bizzare concoctions. With some of the belongings in this den Leroy couldn't necessarily blame them. On the final entry of the journal the alchemist wrote that the bottle contained a potion that would allow the consumer to become slime. Slime that could enter the bodies of others, possess them, and even change them.
Leroy scoffed at that, figuring it to be the ramblings of a madman. Against all common sense Leroy decided he would drink the slime potion.
