As soon as you and Kuesu made it into the forest, you saw a large number of Hideaks and hid behind a couple trees. “What are those things?”“Hideaks. These are the soldiers of the underworld. They are not to be underestimated.”“I see. Wait, what’s that?” You looked around and saw that these Hideaks had innocent people captured. “They have hostages.”“What?”“We have to make sure they don’t get hurt.” You thought for a moment and looked at Kuesu. “Here’s the plan. As soon as I get those guards away from those people, cover me until I can get them all out of there.”“Alright.” You drew your sword and used your speed to slice down the guards. But as soon as you I that, the rest of them turned their attention towards you. But then, Kuesu used her magic to trap some of them in a seal that fried their bodies. Before the others could attack you, she jumped beside you and the pages of her book began to spin around at high speeds creating a powerful barrier. “All of you are going to be fine. I will get you back to the city.” you said as you focused your power around them. “Chaos…Control!” Almost instantly, the hostages were returned to the city, leaving you and Kuesu to face the Hideaks. “Sasuke, do you remember the promise we made to each other?” In that moment you had a small flashback to when you and Kuesu were kids. “So, you’re a Demon Slayer like me Kuesu? Then let’s work hard together.”“I-I can do it by myself. I’m different from you.”“How boring. Working together is better for sure.”“Do you really think so?” she said her back facing you. “It takes a few seconds to cast a spell. And more powerful offensive spells can only travel forward.” she looked away. “Is that how it is?”“If we work together as one…” she said with a slight blush. “Will you protect my back for me?”“Of course. I’ll protect you.”“Really? Will you really protect me?”“I promise you. We will fight together. That’s obvious. So let‘s take down evil.” As soon as your flashback ended, you looked Kuesu in the eyes. “I do remember. And like I promised, I will protect you.” She smiled. “Good. Now let’s go.” she then made a single swipe of her arm which caused the barrier to fire pages at the Hideaks like bullets. This destroyed quite a few of them. But plenty still remained. As you and Kuesu were back to back, the Hideaks did all they could to kill you. But you and Kuesu fought in perfect synch. The Hideaks kept their distance after a little while, but you knew they weren’t finished. Using your Sharingan, you saw that they were building up their energy for an attack. “Kuesu, jump!” As soon as you said that, every single Hideak fired an energy blast at the two of you. You were both able to jump into the air just in time. “Let’s finish this.”“Let’s.” You brought your right hand close to her left. By combining your power of fire and her magic, the two of you were able to create a powerful dark flame “Here it goes.” “Now!”“Dark Phoenix Flower!” you said thrusting your hands forward causing a rain of purple flame to descend on the Hideaks, destroying them all instantly. As the two of you fell to the ground. You used the power of water to put out the flames before they burned the forest to the ground. You landed side-by-side then turned towards each other an smiled. “We make an amazing team.”“I completely agree Sasuke.” The two of you walk back to the mansion with a smile on your faces.
