Embarrassed by your failure from the previous class, you mutter to her that your next class is the Creatures class. As she walks with you, you wave your hands a little and try to remember the defense ward incantation's pronunciation. The Magical and Dangerous Creatures classroom is located in a tower on the north side of the massive stone building. You, Zyliath, and a dozen other students climb the steps and enter the tower.
The master mage of this class is named Ardef. Although he is old, his voice is powerful enough to capture the attention of the class. "Today ,for our first class we are going to work on using simple defense wards against magical creatures." You mentally groan as you remember your experience last class with defense spells. Ardef continues, "Rest assured that we teachers will intervene before any real harm can be done."
Ardef waves his hands in the air, mutters a long incantation, and a blue, magical cage is teleported into the large center of the room. In it sits a captured naga, a woman with the lower body of a snake, who hisses and says a few strange words in her strange tongue. Around the cage Ardef conjures a large circle of energy, to ensure that once released the naga couldn't reach the new students. Suddenly Ardef looks you in the eye and says, "You there, come and show me those defense wards you practiced. He lets you through the energy circle to the naga's cage. Shivering, you look into the eyes of the snake-woman. They show only one desire- to tickle you until you pass out, or worse. But Ardef is there to make sure that doesn't happen, right?
Suddenly the naga' cage dissapears, and she hisses and slithers forward. From the corner of your eye you can see Zyliath cheering you on. The naga charges at you, her objective to use her tail to tie you up and her fingers to tickle you into submission. You prepare to cast the defense ward.
