Sonic and Krystal were walking across the plains and Krystal asks "What did Fox say about me?" Sonic replied "He told me of your adventure days and about your break up."
Krystal became a little depress upon hearing that and said "Well there was a reason for that." Sonic then says "Oh? Do tell."
Krystal then starts by saying "Well I loved Fox and he loved me back and our love grew with each mission we undertook."
Sonic then asks "So what happened? How did you fall apart? Fox never explained that part to me."
Krystal then says "Probably because he was ashamed of it. I'll tell you once we find a safe place to rest." Sonic then saw a place to set up camp and says "Let's rest at that tree."
They set up near the tree as they look about for primids. Krystal then says "Fox got worried about me and said that the life of the leader of Star fox is dangerous."
Sonic then completes the statement by saying "So he pushed you away to protect you?" Krystal nodded and Sonic thought (That's what I'm doing to...)
Sonic then asks "I'm guessing you didn't take it well." Krystal then says "More like it broke my heart. I couldn't be near him after that but then the Anglar invasion happened."
Sonic then asks "So what happened then?" Krystal then replies "I joined Star wolf, who were team Star fox's rivals."
Sonic then exclaims "What were you thinking!? They were your rivals! How could you do that?"
Krystal then replies "I was hurt back then! Because of Fox, I didn't think it all the way though!"
Sonic then got quiet after hearing that and Krystal continued with "When I ran into Fox again, some part of me wanted to forgive him but my other part wanted nothing to do with him."
Sonic then asks "So did you forgive him?" Krystal then says "Yes. I did but...the guilt I felt from doing what I did wouldn't go away and eventually..."
Sonic then asks "It overwhelmed you. You couldn't live with abandoning your previous life right?"
Krystal simply nodded and said "I owed it to Wolf and the others for helping through what happened with fox. So I couldn't toss them away and I made a hard choice."
Sonic stayed silent for the next part. Krystal then says "I left him to live my life with Wolf and the others. I guess you say I was the strongest member of Star fox that day."
Sonic then asks "You thinking about visiting him every now and then?" Krystal replies "No. I couldn't tease him like that. I'm going to stay with Star Wolf and live my new life."
Sonic then walks away for a minute and then walks back and says "I won't tell you how to live your life but at least visit Fox just to let him know you're okay."
Krystal smiles and says "I could do that or I could send him letters so that I don't have to encounter him again even though I know we'll run into each other one day."
Sonic then says "Good. He'll probably be happy that you'll at least send him something." Krystal then says "Yeah."
Just then, a person appears and Sonic exclaims "Who's there!?" The person then says "Wait! Don't attack!" The person then comes out of the forest nearby....
