It is midnight at Gotham. The Gotham museum hold the collect of ancient treasures. These treasures are different from other artificial as all the collect is said to hold the power gods and goddesses of old, from Norse to Greek to Hindu to Aztec to even Abrahamic. Tonight is the last night that all the treasures will be together then they will be taken apart shipped apart back to their own country of origin. Greek artifacts will be sent back to Greece, Hindu artifacts sent back to India.
Batman and Zatanna have chosen to oversee the collection as that no villain will steal these priceless treasures. Zatanna is here as she is an expert on magic and with divine powers at work it good to have someone with supernatural knowledge.
“So how long do you think some villain with come and try to steal these artifacts?” asked Zatanna as she was spinning her wand between her fingers. She and Bruce has long history. Bruce went to her father to skill and training on how to get out of locks and other tricks that stage magicians have the knowledge. She still today has feeling, but she knows that she can’t keep him. It would ruin his playboy image.
“Not long. Oracle has some intel that some villainess will ty to break in.” answered Batman as he glared over the monitors that he set up overlooking the collection. Both of them sat on the roof looking in thought the huge skylight on the museum. Little did he know that ignite the flames of love and desire in many women both good and bad.
“Careful Bruce, if any artifact gets the tiniest of cracks then the deity who owned it will get angry. My magic can match up to the power of a god. “Said Zatanna. She have read stories and heard rumors that unworthy mortal who tried to harness the power of the objects meets a bad end.
“I never believe in magic and the power of gods” stated Batman bluntly.
“Oh what about me or Doctor Fate and Wonder Women who got her powers from Greek goddesses?” spat Zatanna.
Batman ignored her and notice there were some movement on some of the screens.
Poison ivy broke out of Arkham Asylum and heard of the collection. She wanted the scepter of Gaia. The legend goes that whoever wields the scepter will have absolute power of the plant kingdom. With the scepter she could roll over the planet with her army of plants. She could increase her love dust power and finally have Batman. She infatuated with him as he is only person to resist her seduction. She then sneak out of the women bathroom. She broke in by growing a plant that unlocked the bathroom windows from the street side.
Catwomen open the latch from the vent and jumped down and gracefully evade the security beams. She also heard of the collection and wanted the necklace of Bast. It would be the crown jewel of her heist and she hopes that she and Bats would clash for another time. Legends goes the wear of the necklace would talk and command any cat from house cats to lions. Also have cat like grace and would transform into a werecat form. Her clashes with Bats sparked a desire to be with forever.
Harley Quinn also broke in and wanted the mask of Thalia. With is she make people laugh forever and control them to release her pudding, Mister J. she can finally prove that she does love him and with this act hopefully he can return his feeling of love to her. A small part of her hope that Bats will stop her as she knows that Joker is using her for her body and is nothing more than a tool to him. She broke in a storage room and started walking to the exhibit hall holding the collection.
Talia al Ghul easy bypassed the security system and wanted to steel the bracelet of Tyche. With luck will always be on her side and she hopes one day Bruce will let her into his life and to see her son Damien.
Peyton Riley the second ventriloquist also broke in by seducing a young guard and stealing his card to bypass the security system. She is after the diadem of Delirium with it she hopes to stop hearing the voice from the puppet and she can final have a free life. She is grateful to Batman to show her how to have her own life. She would do anything Batman asks of her as she wants out of the life of the mafia.
